BJJ skills can be used in a range of contexts, from self-defence to competitive bouts, with participants learning to deploy techniques including sweeps, different types of joint locks, escapes and judo throws.

Mr Afik’s lifestyle is a careful balance of professional rigour and activities designed to enhance physical vitality. As well as mediation and BJJ, he also enjoys surfing and taking ice baths and has an interest in unique consciousness therapy.
