K G M Mohiuddin, founder of Ykotan, a visual multimedia studio, was born in 18 January 1975, is the fifth child of Mr. K Z Abedin and late Mrs. Farida Khatun. He earned his BBS (Bachelor in Business Studies) and MBS (Master in Business Studies) in 1996, and 1998 respectively from Khulna B L University College under the National University, Bangladesh.

After graduation he started his career in visual and electronic media as an assistant director. He worked with several renowned national film and drama directors like - Amzad Hussain, S A Haque Alik, Murad Parvez, Kazi Illius Kollol, Satirtho Rahman Rubel, and Azizul Hakim. His first TV serial was telecasted in 2012 in BTV under the name KUSONOSKER, written by Idris Hayder. He also directed so many popular TV Dramas and serials.

He also shown his directing skills in the field of making documentaries and made so many.

His excellence is not just confined in visual media. He also showed his passion and skills in other fields. Since 2002-2004 he worked as Sub-editor in Shanko, 1st Bengali Literature Magazine.

He also worked in printing media as a Chief Designer and created amazing publication designs.

In addition to his professional life, he is also actively involved in social welfare work. Through Lions Clubs International he is volunteering his valuable time and money for the betterment of the society. To recognize his volunteering effort Council Chairperson, Lions Clubs International MD 315 Bangladesh, Ln. Dr. S M Jaglul A Mazumdar awarded him in 2013.

He likes writing, designing, and watching movie.
