A recent graduate of University of Maryland, I earned my B.A. in Communication/Public Relations.
I have been blessed to intern at Discovery Communications, University of Maryland and APCO Worldwide (last but not least...I currently work full time as a project assistant for APCO's StudioOnline practice).
Working for a PR agency is all about adapting to convergence. Now that we have incredible platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, public relations is expanding far beyond print newspapers and ad equivalencies (with every update, status, post, 'gram, Vine...OK you get the point).
