Zaris Mota
Student in New York
Hello, I’m Zaris. I’m a senior in the Macaulay Honors program at Baruch College. I majored in Public Affairs with minors in Philosophy and NYC Studies. I am interested in the issues of racism, classism, and heteronormativity in education. My ultimate goal is to become a policy advocate for education reform which seeks to establish a more equitable and inclusive education system.
I currently work as a Project Coordinator for the TEAK Fellowship, an education nonprofit which helps bright low-income students access top-tier high schools and colleges. I also work as a policy intern for Lambda Legal's Youth in Out-of-Home Care Project.
I look forward to changing the world with you.
