I am an environmental scientist with a specialization in biodiversity in agricultural landscapes and sustainable agriculture. My broad background in Biology allows me to have a global vision and a strong passion for Life Sciences. As a very motivated environmental scientist, I’m always looking for more knowledge that provides me the best solution for new challenges.

I have been working at the Strategische Adviesraad voor Landbouw en Visserij (SALV) researching the species protection management commitments for bird species in Flemish agricultural landscapes. Through this research, I can propose new improvements for these agreements in the future that allow correct management in agriculture and species protection, as well as the increase of biodiversity in these environments. I organized several workshops with more than 30 experts and stakeholders from varied nature, governmental and agricultural backgrounds.

I did an internship at SEO/BirdLife with a focus on the conservation status of the Natural Reserve “Brazo del Este”, which is included on the Natura2000 Network. I also have experience as a translator Spanish – English of environmental articles, as well as a writer of scientific biology articles for BioWeb.ie.

My professional goal is to keep working for biodiversity, for a better and sustainable future and keep growing as a professional of Environmental Sciences.
