Hi, my name is Abhishek (pronunciation: uh - b h ee - sh eh k). I am a 25-year-old doctoral candidate currently living in Cologne, Germany. My diverse and far-fetching interests range from cell-cell communication and cellular biophysics to food and travel blogging.

After graduating from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, India (BS-MS 2018) my academic interests in biological information processing and migratory cellular biophysics led me to join Dr. Aneta Koseska's Cellular Computation and Learning group at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology, Dortmund, Germany. Currently, the lab has shifted to the Center of advanced European studies and research Foundation (under MPG) in Bonn, Germany. I hail from Calcutta, the eastern capital of India, popularly known as the City of Joy but identify myself also as a Punekar at heart having spent my college years at Pune.
