Ayden Mullock
Student in Sudbury, ON, Canada
Growing up, I lived with my parents and younger brother Lyam in a small town called Lively. In elementary school, I was an active participant in many sports and it was during these years that I grew my love for curling. Since then, I became heavily involved in competing, and later volunteering many hours at my local curling club during high school.
For high school, I had attended a french catholic school - Ecole Secondaire du Sacre-Coeur. During my years there, I was apart of the Athletics Committee, where I helped coordinate and prepare festivals and games for the students of the school, as well as other odd jobs. In grade nine, I started my first job at D&A Gourmet Meats, where I was hired to help with many tasks, such as stocking the shelves and serving customers. Although work is tough at times, I’m grateful for the experience it gave me, while also enhancing my teamwork and communication skills.
Now as a young adult, I am currently working on completing my last year at Laurentian University with a specialization in Psychology, a minor in Mathematics and a Bachelors of Education. Ever since I started coaching back in high school, I have grown to admire teaching and have developed a strong passion for education. I love learning new things, and with that I strive to one day create a classroom environment where my students will enjoy it as much as I do.
