Breaking convention is my passion. I've never been the type of person to remain silent in the face of disagreement; rather, I think it is my duty to take a stand. That's why I've chosen to blog: it's my own small method of expressing myself in the web of conformity. I wanted to use my blog as a way for me break free of societal groupthink, and show that my opinions, ideas and thoughts are recognized.

I'm also a freshman at UC-Berkeley, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, my other passion. Some things I've done are: using Steganography to encode messages into images, and then decode them without the original image (we wrote it in Go for fun, with a Flask server), scraping Berkeley's dining site and texting you when there is something you like (with Django), creating a Markov Bot to generate text that sounds like a specific author (Python), and making an application that lets you watch movies with your friends, completely in sync, through Google Hangouts (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Google Hangouts API). The last one won second place at a Berkeley Hackathon.
