Aakash Santorai is bi-lingual (Sindhi and English) development journalist based at Hyderabad Pakistan. He has more than 8 years experience in working journalism. He enjoying writing and reporting on climate change and its related issues in Pakistan. Initially he was affiliated with sindhi daily Kawish a largest circulated regional daily of Pakistan as a special reporter/ sub editor. Now he is Editor of Sindhi daily SINDH GLOBE.His first training about journalism was held in August 2001. Then he is participating regularly various trainings especially on climate change and reporting skills which were conducted by ICFJ,WWF, LEAD<Oxfam, Water Aid, RDF, SPARC, PPF and other organizations and institutes. He also visited and covered the Climate impacts on Coastal Communities, Intrusion by Arabian Sea in Coast of Pakistan, Disappearing fresh water lakes like Mancchar lake Nareri Lake Etc. He is also Media Fellow of Water Aid and written more than 100 articles and feature stories about WASH issues in Pakistan. Aakash Santorai is International Visitors Leadership Program (USA) Media Fellow 2011. He also participated in 6 week training on Digital media and Climate Change by ICFJ in Srilanka. Aakash Santorai is Coordinator of South Asia Forum of Climate Change Journalists. He has lot of national and international media exposure. He is also part time Blogger and Photojournalist.
