Troy Johnson

Troy Johnson is the founder and webmaster of, LLC (The African American Literature Book Club). was launched in 1998 and is the oldest, largest, and most frequently visited web site dedicated to books written by, and about, people of African descent.

Johnson also has over 20 years of corporate experience in the consulting, financial services, and telecommunications industries. His roles ranged from managing multinational projects to designing wide area networks. He is also an educator, teaching a wide range of subjects from web design, at the college level, to high school math to adults learners.

Johnson holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, an MS from Polytechnic University, and an MBA from New York University. He has also completed Stanford University's Publishing on the Web course. Read more about Mr. Johnson.
