A. Alberto Lugo is the founder and CEO of Framing Futures Architectural Firm (FFAF), a Southern California practice dedicated to creating innovative, sustainable commercial and public spaces. Since launching FFAF in 2019, he has led its creative direction and operations, overseeing projects that blend cutting-edge architectural engineering with community-focused design.

With over two decades of experience, Lugo has held senior roles at respected firms including Parkins and Rhodon in New York and Fentrell Architects in San Francisco. He began his career at Macaby and Roy and refined his craft at his father’s Albany-based firm.

Lugo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture with distinction from Cornell University, along with certifications in Building Science and Environmental Systems. His work spans New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, where he is recognized for designs that harmonize with their environment and serve each community’s unique needs.

In addition to his architectural practice, Lugo has become a trusted advisor to municipalities and nonprofits, helping shape urban planning policies that prioritize sustainability, resilience, and equity.
