Aalyah Duncan is a multi-talented young lady achieving two degrees in music, providing services as a violin instructor, and consultant for clients in the arts community. A native of Philadelphia, after receiving her Masters in Arts Administration from Florida State University, Aalyah began her professional career in Atlanta; working as Manager of the Friday Jazz Series at the prestigious High Museum of Art. While at the High Museum, Aalyah has worked with international musicians such as Ike Stubblefield, Steve Dancz, Kevin Bales, Joe Gransden, and Takana Miyamoto to name a few.
After concluding her tenure at the prestigious museumt, Aalyah established Alist Events Marketing to provide a need and demand for authentic representation to visual artists, singers, musicians in the performing arts community and the entertainment industry. Having created and executed successful campaigns for renowned musicians and artists including: Najee, Carvin Haggins, Kebbi Williams, Joey Sommerville, JFly, and Fabian Williams to name a few; her company has developed close working relationships with multi-media outlets, agents and managers in the arts industry. These established relationships has abetted media exposure for her clients, and allowing her team to generate buzz more effectively.
