I grew up in a small town in Connecticut that offered little more to do than pay frequent visits to the monolith that is the Mohegan Sun Casino. Friends and family were my only outlets and I soon found myself working hard to succeed beyond expectations.
A naturally gifted communicator, I soon found myself interested in more than just the Communications degree while at Eastern Connecticut State University. Politics, international relations, the functions of government and, especially, history became such enthralling topics that I decided to add History (focused on U.S. policy) as a second degree.
Humbled by the amount of awards and distinctions I had earned at school, I felt confident to chase my love of the world and all its intricate policies by moving to Washington, DC. Though it has not been easy, I will not stop searching for ways to work with one of the most important bodies to our national safety- the Department of State.
