About Me – Aaron Jones

I started my journey in the financial markets back in 2001, driven by a deep curiosity about global economies and price movements. My early years were spent at proprietary trading desks, where I learned the discipline and precision required to succeed as a trader. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with PDT Partners, Element Capital Management, or BlueCrest Capital Managementboutique prop desks and hedge funds known for their sharp focus on risk management and quantitative approaches.

At Meridian Capital, I learned the fundamentals of market structure, liquidity, and risk controls while managing intraday currency flows. Later, my role at Beacon Peak exposed me to emerging markets and cross-asset strategies, where I honed my skills in derivatives and macro analysis. At Atlas Global, I worked on algorithmic execution systems and advanced trading models—experience that shaped my current approach to market strategies.

Why I Started QuantumPips

After nearly a decade in the institutional world, I saw a significant gap between professional trading practices and what most retail traders had access to. Too many traders relied on guesswork, noise, or unreliable information. I founded QuantumPips with a simple mission: to bring institutional-grade strategies, transparent analytics, and disciplined risk management to retail traders around the world.
