Aaron Mendelson is a proven entertainment leader and innovator with more than 20 years of experience creating and developing unique guest experiences that drive ROI and delight patrons. For the past five years, Mendelson has been part of the Creative Design and New Product Development team at WhiteWater West Industries, the premier Waterpark Design and Development firms globally. Aaron’s role at WhiteWater has allowed him to development new technologies in waterparks that have never been explored before. The flagship product to date has been Slideboarding, the world’s first video game played in a waterslide.

From conceptualization to development to productizing, Aaron has led a team that has installed Slideboarding in 11 locations with more being added regularly. By the end of 2017, Slideboarding will be available on 4 continents as well as roaming the seas on board cruise ships.

Mendelson is a triple threat in the entertainment industry, possessing a rare combination of skills that enable him to conceptualize and develop innovative entertainment experiences, design and translate technical requirements, and successfully partner with vendors, clients and employees on all levels to fulfill his vision. Mendelson’s path to success originated as a TV/radio major specializing in audio production at Ithaca College, was paved during his five years in technical and talent leadership at Universal Orlando Resort, continued through his years with Gaylord Palms and cemented with his work at WhiteWater West Industries and through involvement with industry champions such as the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and International Live Events Association (ILEA).
