PhD Student, Musician, and researcher in Davis, California
I am fascinated by the development of the mind. From the moment we are born, humans are tasked with learning a remarkable amount of information about our environment, and much of this learning is accomplished through visual exploration. My research focuses on the cognitive abilities involved in visual processing and their development during infancy. Currently, I am investigating the influence of attention on visual short-term memory during the first year of life.
I am passionate about cognitive development, data science, data visualization, and computer programming. When I'm not doing research, I enjoy playing bass guitar, weightlifting, and exploring the outdoors.
I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Sacramento State University, a Master's Degree in Psychology from University of California, Davis (UC Davis), and I am currently working on a PhD in Psychology at UC Davis.
