Aaron Rawcliffe

Aaron Rawcliffe is an event content specialist with 13+ years experience producing, leading and running events covering mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, financial risk management, data, cybersecurity, and law - including but not limited to intellectual property, competition, arbitration and corporate investigations.

Between 2017 and 2021, Aaron led conference production at Law Business Research (previously Globe Business Media Group). During this tenure, he led the IAM and WTR event portfolios including the growth and development of the IPBC brand.

Under the IAM, WTR and IPBC brands, Aaron grew the European and US event portfolio from 7 to 23 events annually launching IPBC Europe, IPBC Latin America and IPBC Israel amongst others.

In 2019, alongside Joff Wild, Former Editor-in-Chief at IAM, and in collaboration with Dori Hines, Michele Bosch, Raj Gupta and Laura Johnson (all of Finnegan), he delivered the meeting that developed the Boston Manifesto having previously steered IPBC to make a pledge and commitment to no more all-male panel sessions.

During the global pandemic, he also conceptualised and delivered the IPBC and WTR Connect series’, bringing together over 2000 IP professionals virtually.

In 2023, Aaron launched the IP Leadership Executive in Santa Clara focused specifically on accelerating innovation and creativity within in-house teams and functions.

With a strong track record of working with the world’s leading corporate IP heads from a multitude of different industries, Aaron is now Vice President of Events at the prestigious Dealmakers Forums and working closely with Wendy Chou to develop the Dealmakers offerings.
