I was born in 1990 in India, and I moved to the United States in the year 2007 for my education. During my time in the States, I became a biomedical engineer with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa. I later pursued my Masters' from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on medical devices, and how to translate medical device research into viable businesses.

I spent the next four years working for a startup, and then big players within the orthopaedic implants industry.

In early 2017, I relocated back to India, after a decade of learning and accumulating skills in the healthcare space, to start my own venture.

It was then that I focussed on combining the technology of apps, and 3d printing to solve healthcare problems. This focus led to Shapecrunch, where we use mobile apps, and 3d printing to make custom made orthotics.
