I am an avid fictional reader, adventurer and design enthusiast. My passion for design was cradled through years of practice in various design-focused firms and excellence in academia.

I acquired my Bachelor in Architecture in MEASI Academy of Architecture, Chennai, India. I spent my formative years in an architectural consultancy firm in Al Ain, UAE. My interests in eco-sensitive design surged while working on residential projects of various scales during my professional tenure. I went on to pursue a Masters degree in Sustainable Architectural Studies in the University of Sheffield, UK, and emerged determined to be environment-concious by passive design methods and create socially interactive spaces that behave as a medium to draw people together.

I have had the opportunity to work with one of the best architectural firms in India and was exposed to diverse project typologies such as residential, commercial and institutional.

I believe that with efficient buildings, the architect has an opportunity to create a holistic environment which can significantly improve the quality of life. In future, I would like to research on design approaches that are inspired by or collaborate with various other disciplines to derive innovative solutions for building energy use.

Currently I am the Principal Architect and Co-Founder of an architectural practice, 'Formation Studio', which is a bricolage of its founders' interest in sustainable, contemporary and urban design.
