Abby Almerido

Hey there, I’m Abby. I’m a Coordinator for Workforce Development and Organizational Culture with the Santa Clara County Office of Education. I am committed to transforming teaching and learning through culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogies. Through my work at the county office, I authored courses on how to design equitable and empowering learning for all students through culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogies and how to bring out students’ cultural capital through arts education. This past March, I was named CUE’s 2019 Technology Leader of the Year.

As an educator, my core values include: Justice, Community, Empowerment, and Expression.
