Abby Crisostomo

London, United Kingdom

I am a policy and planning professional with a focus on the intersection between environmental policy and community development and using the principles of each to enhance the other. I have a wide variety of interests and experience, but I have worked most extensively in water resource policy. I am currently working as a sustainability consultant advising on major development projects, such as the London Olympic Park redevelopment. I am also co-lead the International Water Association's Public and Customer Communications Specialist Group and was a member of the first round of Chicago Next Generation Environmental Leaders.

I am a frequent public speaker and am an avid Twitter user. You'll often find me tweeting or writing about all things water and stormwater, community development, sustainability, biking and bike share, feminism, affordable housing, climate change, immigration, land management, community engagement and other urbanist and social equity topics. I am a recent transplant to London after having lived in Chicago for ten years, Brooklyn for two years and having grown up in Duluth, Minnesota.
