My name is Abby. I have a love for sunflowers. Sunflowers thrive in the summer sun as do I since my birthday falls in this season. Their beauty is captured in the daytime heat whereas I prefer the cool, calming darkness of night. Sunflowers evolve from tiny buds to vivid yellow faces. I am reserved at first, but with time my personality blossoms. Yellow is my favorite color since it emits warm, upbeat vibes. Usually, these flowers are found in groups to where no sunflower must exist alone. In the same essence, I am an extravert so you will always find me surrounding myself with loved ones and genuine friends. The sunflowers and I are inviting, bright, and cheery, reflecting the positive mindset I strive to uphold. The yellow petals sway in the wind as if they are dancing with each other. Dance is my passion since it brings people together and allows me to express myself. Sunflowers require water to flourish just as I am most happy emerged in an ocean or any body of water. I frequently vacation to my beach house in Destin, Florida unlike sunflowers that are confined to a single field. Sunflowers radiate the sun’s energy. I utilize all of my energy in an extremely active and busy lifestyle. The joyful and upbeat feelings one gets when they receive a bouquet of sunflowers are the same feelings I want to share with others and fill my own life with. One sunflower may be pretty, but putting together a bunch of sunflowers in a field is a gorgeous masterpiece. In my writing and in my life, placing the small pieces together forms an amazing story.
