Abby Snethen

Hello! My name is Abby Snethen, and I am currently attending the University of Oregon in the attempt to obtain my master's degree in journalism.

I have four years of journalism experience, some of which involved me writing for my university magazine and a short sports writing internship.

In June of 2024 I graduated from Central Washington University Magna Cum Laude with a BA in cultural anthropology where I also played division two volleyball.

I love traveling, all kinds of arts and crafts, snuggling with my two cats, Ziggy and Winnie, managing the coffee shop I work at, and sewing clothes.

My future aspirations involve travel writing, engaging with communities to create a better relationship between people and journalism, and to learn how to enhance my skills on all fronts from fellow journalists.
