Dr. Ivette Diaz

An experienced and well-regarded dentist, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz provides progressive pediatric dental care at her private practice, ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry in Pearland, Texas. A longtime Texas resident who graduated cum laude from La Porte High School, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz received her undergraduate education at Baylor University, where she majored in Spanish and minored in Chemistry. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz enrolled at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry. While working toward her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz completed an oral maxillofacial surgery internship at the oral surgery clinic, as well as a comprehensive pediatric dentistry externship at several clinics in the Dallas area. An active member of the Baylor College of Dentistry community, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz served as an officer in Delta Sigma Delta and the Baylor College of Dentistry Hispanic Dental Association, working with children to promote oral health and cultural awareness. Charitably minded, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz has also participated in two dental mission trips to Honduras.

Following the completion of her studies in 2001, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz relocated to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to embark on post-doctoral training at the University of Puerto Rico. Over the course of her two-year training in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz continued to build on her record of service by volunteering to deliver dental care and oral health education in Cantera, a federally designated "special community" in Puerto Rico. As Chief Pediatric Dentistry Resident, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz also completed a research project titled "Maternal Depression: Children with Cleft Lip and/or Palate." In 2003, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz received her Post-Doctoral Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ivette M. Diaz holds professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
