Hey, I’m Abdikadir Mohamed! I’m a high school student, young researcher, community leader, and the founder and president of the Big E Organization. I created Big E to bring young people together through education, leadership, volunteering, and community service.
In summer 2026, I led Big E’s first summer project, a student-managed initiative based in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Although the project was only partially successful in reaching its original goals, it gave our team valuable experience and helped me learn more about leadership, teamwork, organization, and turning an idea into something real.
I’m especially interested in science, medicine. I am writing research about urine reagent test strips and their potential role in kidney-health screening and awareness. I’ve also explored college-level science and gained experience through healthcare volunteering. In the future, I hope to build a career in medicine while continuing to conduct research, serve my community, and create new opportunities for other young people.
