I`m a highly skilled and results-driven Logistics Specialist with over 11 years of experience, I have a proven
track record of effectively managing end-to-end procurement, vendor management, fleet, and warehouse
operations. My cross-functional competencies in supply chain operations management, inbound and
outbound logistics, and inventory management have allowed me to improve supply operations and internal
processes while maintaining and updating multiple high-volume data resources in both paper and electronic
forms.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in a variety of roles and responsibilities, ranging
from small-scale projects such as Merit and PSNP operating under Regional Government bureaus to
larger-scale initiatives with International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) such as ICRC and
OXFAM. I have demonstrated my ability to plan, develop, and implement successful projects while also
leading multifunctional field teams and providing support for CLM-Level and coordinators.
In my previous role as a Regional Procurement/Logistics Officer at Oxfam, I was responsible for overseeing
three sub-delegations that were reporting directly to me. I played a pivotal role in providing crucial support
in procedural guidance, negotiating skills, bids, and private partnership projects. Furthermore, I served as
the logistics focal person for procedural guidance for local NGOs, including OWDA and HAVAYOCO,
thereby demonstrating my expertise in navigating complex logistical challenges and ensuring the
successful execution of projects.
Currently, I am a Logistics Manager at ICRC Jijiga Office Ethiopia, where I support Country Logistics
Managers in increasing driving performance, coaching teams, implementing procedures according to the
manual, and providing system training. I led a team of Thirty subordinates, conducted assessments, and
mitigated risks related to transport and fleets, warehouses, supply chains, and procurement.
I am fully comfortable with career changes, team building, and process reviews with a strong background
in domestic logistics operations among INGOs and governmental bureaus.
