I’m Abdi Ohadi, a musician, songwriter, educator, producer, and researcher based in Kerman, Iran.

For many years, the guitar has been my primary language of expression. My work moves across rock, metal, folk, experimental music, and the singer-songwriter tradition. As a recording artist, I release music through platforms such as Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and Spotify, and I perform and create as a member of Aortae with Homayoon Majdzadeh.

I also teach guitar, music theory, improvisation, songwriting, bass, music history, performance, and music production at Beethoven Music School in Kerman. My approach is practical, personal, and creative: I help students develop not only their technique, but also their own musical voice.

Alongside music, I hold a PhD in English Literature and explore the relationship between language, poetry, and sound. I am currently working on ‘The Music of Poetry’ Reimagined with Dr. Hassan Shahabi, a project that brings literary and musical thinking together in new ways.

Through my teaching, research, performances, recordings, and Music Class Productions playlist series, I try to create meaningful connections between ideas, people, and music.

Musician. Teacher. Writer. Producer. Researcher. Always learning, always creating.
