Abdul Haadhee Hussain

Uz. Abdul Haadhee Hussain is a Shari'ah Advisor, Auditor, and Lawyer. He did his first degree in Shariah Law (LLB) from the Islamic University of Madinah and later did his Master of Shari'ah at Villa College Maldives.

He currently works at BML Islamic as a Manager in Shari'ah Department. He did join BML Islamic as a Shariah officer in 2019. Before his career at BML Islamic, he worked as a freelance lawyer and a volunteer at the Mahaldheeb Foundation, where he held the post of Secretary General and Vice president of the NGO. He has led many projects under his leadership at Mahaldheeb Foundation, such as one of the largest Eye Camps, "Mahaldheeb FIMA SAVE Vision," and the 1st Enlighten conference on women, "DO You Know Her?".

Uz. Abdul Haadhee was awarded a Certified Islamic Banker (CIB) by General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions(CIBAFI) in 2021. Later, he became a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) by Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions(AAOIFI) in 2022; both Institutions are based in Bahrain and are the leading international not-for-profit organizations responsible for the development of Islamic Banking and Financial sector globally. In January 2024, he became a member of Association of Shari'ah Advisors in Islamic Finance Malaysia (ASAS)

He is a licensed lawyer and Shari'ah scholar who has conducted public lectures and workshops and even participated in some conferences locally and internationally.
