postdoctoral Researcher in California, USA
Born and raised in Istanbul,
In 2009, I earned a BSc degree in physics from Uludağ University. Subsequently, I pursued an MSc program, focusing on the MRI thermometry method, and successfully completed my degree in 2012.
During the same year, I embarked on my PhD journey at Selcuk University. As part of my doctoral research, I developed a real-time method for distinguishing xylene isomers using a custom-built time-of-flight mass spectrometry system.
In 2021, I became a member of KUYBIIG-M at Koç University, participating in the 2218 domestic postdoctoral research fellowship program. My work there centered around designing and manufacturing a compact TOF-MS system for the investigation of ionization processes and material characterization.
Later, in December 2022, I took on the role of a postdoctoral researcher at the Koç University Surface Science and Technology Center (KUYTAM), specifically at the Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy Laboratory, a position I held until October 2023.
In October 2023, I joined the Wakatsuki Lab and the SLAC community, marking the latest chapter in my academic and research journey.
