Abdul Wahide Shipu was born on December 27, 1999 (Mistakenly in his certificate 2001 is mentioned as his birth year. And later he started using 2001 as his birth year), In Dhakshin Maijbhag (Rofipur), Hetimgonj, Golapgonj, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He grew up in his native village with his parents and siblings. He is the youngest person in his family and have 3 elder brother and 3 elder sister.

His father late Mr. Tayeeb Ali, mostly known as “Rofipurer Master sab” was a High school teacher, though he was a government employee in his beginning of career. He served Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) as a Jetty Supervisor from 1972 to 1986. Then he choose his career as a High school teacher in 1988. And retired in 2013 as a Senior Assistant Teacher from Atharia High School & College. He died on July 20, 2020.

Shipu’s mother Afjun Begum is a Housewife.

Abdul Wahide Shipu completed his Primary School Certificate (PSC) in 2011, from Sobuj Kuri Shishu Biddalay. He completed Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in the year 2014 & 2017 respectively. Then he completed his Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) from Sylhet Government College, in 2019. Currently he studying Computer Science and Engineering in Metropolitan University Bangladesh.

Notable Works

Abdul Wahide Shipu’s first book was published on September, 2023. Titled “Oddhapok Jamal Nazrul Islam jibon o korrmo” (“Professor Jamal Nazrul Islam Life and Works”). ISBN: 978-984-35-4918-1. Published by NIRRZAS Sylhet.
