Abeer Al-Sumait

Policy Manager in Riyadh Saudi Arabia

I am a dedicated public policy professional with over 10 years of experience in policy analysis, economic development, and regulatory frameworks. Currently, I serve as a Base Economy Manager at the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), where I collaborate with national regulators and other stakeholders to address policy challenges and foster sustainable economic growth in alignment with RCU’s vision for the future.

My career journey has taken me across a range of roles in both public and private sectors, spanning cyber security, governance, and public policy. I earned my Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Oxford, building on a solid academic foundation in information technology from King Saud University, where I graduated with honors as part of the first batch of the Security and Networks track.

I am passionate about using my expertise to craft impactful strategies that support long-term policy goals, enhance regulatory alignment, and contribute to national development objectives. My experience has equipped me with a unique insight into navigating complex regulatory landscapes, and I am always eager to learn, innovate, and collaborate in driving change.
