I am currently pursuing a degree in Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in e-Business, from which I will be graduating June 2016. I am proficient in problem solving, data analytics and presentations. I have previously been employed to work for the Department of National Defence of Canada on an information technology systems management project as an analyst. My skills have also been recognized at Spotify where I consulted on business partnerships and growth strategies during the annual Student Innovation Award. My communication and research skills are second to none as demonstrated during my TEDx presentation. I have shown flexibility as an entrepreneur and have had success in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment at Apple Inc.

Public speaking and research come naturally to me. As a guest speaker at TEDx I discussed the intersection of music and business. I love start-ups. I have founded a non-profit and a music production company. I enjoy travelling and have lived abroad in Ethiopia, Norway, Sweden and the U.S. I am fluent in English and Amharic and have basic proficiency in Swedish and French.

In the coming years I am looking to build on my aforementioned experiences to serve in the fields of Business Intelligence and Business Development as well as travel the world to the soundtrack of the music I love.
