I started in radio at Radio KC in 1996 during my matric year and that is when the bug bit me. I always had a love for sports and it is only much later I decided to study Sports Management. I thought why not integrate my love for radio broadcasting and sports hence started blogging and producing podcasts. As a result I was invited to different radio stations (Radio Cape Point and Radio2000fm) for interviews and also appeared as guest/co-presenter on Radio CCFM's Saturday Sport show.

The sports climate in South Africa is of such a nature that it is necessary to share a different perspective on important sports matters such as transformation, social matters, sports history and sports analyses. It is for that reason that I started Blindside Sports Media. It offers a different perspective yet very relevant and articles and podcasts is available across my social media forums.

I was an active referee in the WP Club Rugby League for 2 years and also completed World Rugby coaching levels 1 and 2. Apart from rugby I also enjoy following Basketball(NBA), Football, Cricket and the NFL(American Football). I am currently a director at my own company and will commence my studies in doing my BBA in Media Operations Management in 2017.
