Abhishek Panwar, a dynamic young social activist from Indore, has made significant contributions to both the local community and the nation at large. Recently, he marked his presence as a delegate at the Model G20 Summit and represented NYKS Indore at the 26th National Youth Festival. Furthermore, he was a proud youth delegate at the Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2023.
Mr Panwar was honoured with the South Asia Regional Brilliance Award 2022 in recognition of his exemplary individual performance and his commitment to youth leadership. His dedication to contributing to SDG-16 is evident from his early involvement in social services.
Academically, Abhishek boasts an Honors and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations. He distinguished himself by securing the top rank from Devi Ahilya University. Beyond academics, he has always been an active participant in social and creative endeavours. His commitment to social causes took shape in 2012 when he joined an NGO. Later, while pursuing his master's degree, he interned with the local MP, focusing on assisting the underprivileged.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, Mr Panwar extended a helping hand by providing food, shelter, and sanitizers, and facilitating the delivery of essential medicines in government hospitals through various NGOs.
His achievements further encompass winning the Best Parliamentarian Award at "The Voice of New India" LokSabha session by Think India and earning the Certificate of Excellence for his commendable role as the Campus Ambassador for Youth Online Model United Nations 4.0. He also received a Special Honorary Mention Award at the Abhivyatki National Youth Parliament.
