I am an artist and an art teacher from Westchester County New York. I teach grades Pre-K to 2 in a new and growing school in the Bronx. I graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelors and Masters in Art Education. I love painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, ceramics, and photography.

In June 2010, I spoke about my Master's thesis titled "Using Information Communication to Promote and Enhance Intercultural Dialogue" at the United States Society for Education Through Art at SUNY New Paltz. My thesis focused on Web 2.0's potential in the art classroom in building cultural understanding and dialogue.

I find teaching art to be the best job in the world. Art is my passion and to pass it on to young minds is an honor. Despite whatever is happening in today's world, I feel that, through art, children will learn to respect human life and their environs. I feel at home when I am in the art classroom, and I would not trade that sense of belonging and creativity for anything else.

My artwork is inspired by my love of doodling on notebook margins and the beauty of nature. I am constantly doodling and sketching out new ideas for projects. I do freelance illustration work through Fiverr and Thumbtack and sell my artwork on Etsy and Society6.
