Creating a healthy lifestyle and atmosphere for youth and families within this amazing life. Allowing them to explore new opportunities through sports, events, nutrition, and physical activity in many different ways.

As I have continued to grow throughout this crazy career field, below are a few of the areas I found myself succeeding in.

YMCA Lead Teacher/Multi-site Director.
In charge of running the day camp program, specialty camps, and afterschool programs, with licensed daycare providers. Wrote curriculum and managed staff. Created marketing plans, internal and external, created and worked with a budget, all on the administrative end.

YMCA/Afterschool Program Specialist.
Worked on curriculum, and ran marketing campaign leading up to the start of the program. Providing an afterschool program environment with licensed daycare providers to build a strong base for the local youth using a well-rounded curriculum.

YMCA / Lead Summer Camp Program Specialist.
Wrote curriculum for multiple week long summer camps and was the lead instructor. Was also involved in the marketing and promoting of these camps within the community. Camps are held at the Howard Christensen Nature Center in Kent City, MI giving kids an opportunity to explore nature, and outdoor excursions.

YMCA / Community Outreach, Healthy Living Intern.
Run afterschool Bus Pass program with local students creating events and activities on a daily basis. Market programs the YMCA is offering off site in local communities. Heading up a project to promote the YMCA to receive more members. Involves going to local neighborhoods to provide physical activity and nutritional facts at their doorstep.

West Michigan Sports Commission Fieldwork Position.
Worked with multiple events as a “hands on” field worker in areas such as operations and marketing. Additional activities included promotional work in support of promotions for the Meijer State Games of Michigan.

YMCA / Healthy Living Hub Instructor.
Instructs different classes throughout the week as a lead and assistant teacher. Wrote curriculum for programs currently used in certain classes offered.
