Abigail Holmes

Hi, I’m Abigail. I’m a teacher living in Victoria, BC. I spend my time painting, doing yoga, and reading. I also love solo travelling. I realized I wanted to become a teacher while I was attending an alternative high school in Calgary. The meaningful connections I made with my teachers there were truly life changing! I have been a TTOC in the Sooke and Saanich school districts for about 2 years now, since graduating from UVic with my Secondary BEd. My teaching areas are Art and English. This Queen's course is the final course I need to qualify for a Teacher Librarian certificate.

While I do enjoy the variety of my day-to-day work life as a TTOC, I am excited to keep applying for contracts, and am specifically passionate about either teaching art or working as a teacher librarian.
