Abigail Huffman

Hi there, my names Abigail. I’m a daughter, a sister, a grand daughter, and a friend to many. I’m your average gal living in downtown Toronto for school. I am currently in my third year at Ryerson University studying Sport Media. I moved from my hometown of Waterford (a very small town in southern Ontario) to pursue this program at Ryerson, as I knew it was the right fit for me and was going to offer me more than just a degree in the end. I am excited to finish off my degree in the next 2 years and put my skills to the test in the real world. I have no set end goal, because I think it’s important to adapt and evolve with the sports industry. However, I have discovered a love for production throughout my first two years of this program. A dream of mine would be producing a live sporting event like the Grey Cup. I’ve always thought of myself to be a driven, independent, and compassionate young woman so hopefully those traits will work to my advantage as I continue on in this industry. In terms of my passions, they vary! I love taking in a Raptors game or watching an Argonauts game with my family. I also am a big believer in ‘the better you're dressed the better you feel’ so clearly fashion is also a passion of mine. When I’m not watching sports I find myself keeping up to date on current news and pop culture events as they fascinate me to no extent. I’ve been raised by two incredible parents, and grew up with three pretty cool siblings. I find value in being an involved community member and giving back when you can. There’s a little tidbit on me!
