Abiodun Solomon


With approximately 17 years of experience as a minister, Abiodun Solomon has led The Shadow of the Almighty Ministries since 2003. Based in Chicago, the nondenominational Christian church emphasizes a balance between reflective prayer, worship, and faith-based action to assist the needy. Abiodun Solomon operates the Care Ministry as an integral part of the ministry, with a core focus on feeding the hungry and providing appropriate referrals to community service providers.

Born in Africa, Apostle A.O. Solomon was raised in a Muslim household in Nigeria. Since finding Jesus Christ, he has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel, both through traditional church services and through The Shadow of the Almighty’s dedicated prayer line, which reaches thousands of people each day. In addition, The Shadow of the Almighty maintains a radio network that streams live on the Internet, with downloadable apps available for the iPad, iPhone, and Android devices. Apostle Abiodun Odejayi Solomon has also authored a number of popular books on faith and spirituality, self-help, and Christian life, including Becoming a Winner in Life and Operation Take Over the Day.
