Benjamin Lehman

Hi, my name is Benjamin – I spend my days either in front of a monitor or behind a camera lens. I've spent most of my life working in the digital arts in one way or another. I started before there were any college courses for this stuff, therefore I am completely self-taught. I own a visual design agency, Emotiv, and a Photography studio, Benjamin Lehman Photography.
My biggest passion is the camera, the things I get to do with it, and the people I get to share these experiences with. I shoot everything from fashion and fine art to commercial and advertising photographs.
Before photography I was known as one of the first designers working in HTML; yes, building a website is trivial these days, but back then it seemed like magic. Working with HP, again many years ago, we built the world's first streaming video player based on Flash - some 5 years before a company called YouTube would come on the scene.
When I am not taking photos or working on designs you can find me either behind a drum kit, or snuggled next to my sweet Australian cattle dog, Pinion.
