Amaury Blondet

For the past ten years Amaury has worked in the TV and advertising industry with a focus on digital media. He is currently the Managing Director of idea939, a digital agency that specializes in digital strategies, creative development, social media experiences and branded content solutions.

Prior to joining idea939, he was the digital content manager at Discovery Communications managing the strategies and content development for all digital platforms (websites, mobile apps, social media) of various brands such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Kids and TLC for Latin America, Brazil and the U.S. Hispanic market. He was also responsible for delivering thought leadership in the areas of social and digital media on behalf of Discovery.

In addition to this, he is the founder and executive director of Planeta Feliz, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping create a happy and sustainable world. Today the organization works on projects in Colombia, Dominican Republic, United States, Haiti and Puerto Rico.

Recent speaking engagements include the International CES, Media Summit NY, TV Connect London, eMerge Americas,Social Media Week,Hispanic Entertainment & Media Summit, WebCongress, Hispanic Communications Conference, Sustainatopia, SME Digital Forum, BloggerCon, among others. He has also given presentations to clients/partners in countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and United States, and in universities such as University of Florida, FullSail University, University of Puerto Rico, Florida International University and Miami-Dade College.

Amaury has a bachelor degree in business administration and international business, and an MBA with a concentration in Management.
