James Scott, founder of the Embassy Row Project, has dedicated his career to nurturing innovators and leaders aiming to make global impacts. Scott’s journey began with a transformative encounter that steered him towards technology and international advisory, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors. The turning point came from his recruitment by an aerospace & defense recruiter during his senior year in high school, propelling him into a world where his work would eventually span over 50 countries, supporting tech startups, labs, and think tanks in making their marks internationally.

The Embassy Row Project, born out of Scott’s early career efforts assisting financially constrained think tanks, NGOs, and startups, has evolved into a philanthropic initiative offering free services to nonprofits worldwide. With a focus on sectors ranging from environmental conservation to gender equality, child protection, human rights, and international trade, the project adopts a grant and scholarship approach to aid small but promising organizations.

Throughout his career, Scott has been instrumental in structuring and advising institutes and NGOs, often stepping in to support financially strapped projects pro bono. His vision for the Embassy Row Project is to equip the next wave of change-makers with the tools and networks necessary for international success, thereby fostering innovation, diversity, and sustainable development globally. ERP supports over 50 entities across various sectors, providing invaluable resources without charge, embodying Scott’s commitment to empowering global initiatives and leaders.
