A recipient of a bachelor's degree in accounting from the City University of New York, Abraham "Abe" Biderman is a Certified Public Accountant who began his career in 1975 as assistant deputy comptroller for the State of New York. He served in this role for eight years before working as special assistant to the deputy mayor for finance and economic development. Abraham Biderman worked in the public sector until 1989 and held positions including chairman of the New York City Housing Development Corp. and New York City finance commissioner.

Abraham Biderman served as executive vice president at Lipper & Company, L.P. from 1990 to 2003, during which time he was responsible for $5 billion in assets under management. He concurrently worked as managing director of Lipper Funds, Inc., composed of four publicly traded mutual funds. He has served as chairman at Eagle Strategic Advisors since 2003.

In addition to the aforementioned roles, Abe Biderman has served on the boards of multiple public companies. He is a trustee with Beth Medrash Govoha, Agudath Israel of America, and Beer Hagolah Institute. He's also director of the Jewish Community Relations Council and Yeshiva Torah Vodaath.
