I am a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with over 11 years of experience in clinical practice, NGO work, and field operations. I specialize in HIV care and treatment, having received training from Amsterdam University, Bayero University, and the Infection Society of Nigeria. Additionally, I am certified as an HIV Testing and Care Specialist by the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN).
Currently, I serve as the HIV Counselor and Tester Focal Person at Tudun Wada General Hospital. I am also a member of the United Nations Mental Health Gap initiative, a Digital Nurse, and an HIV Task-Shifting Trainer with IHVN, actively contributing to capacity building in HIV management.
My expertise extends to public health, activism, medical freelancing, and writing. I have attended various capacity-building training programs, enhancing my skills in healthcare leadership, clinical practice, and community health interventions.
Previously, I served as the Chairman of the Hospital Friends Committee of Kafin Maiyaki Primary Health Care and remain an active member of the Ward Development Committee. I am also a certified Skilled Birth Attendant by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
