Abubekir Salim

Mr Abubekir Salim holds a BSc Degree (Honours) in Geology Engineering from Kocaeli University, Turkey and a (MSc) Rock Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, School of Mining Engineering, South Africa.

Mr Salim is a Director and Shareholder of Londani Coal (Pty) Ltd and on the Board

of various mining companies. He is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Vunani Resources.

Mr. Salim has been a regular speaker at several conferences, namely:

• Privatisation of Railways in South Africa, at the Coaltrans Conference

• Coal mining trade at the China Business Summit

• 7th Annual Global Commodities Finance (Euro Money)

• 6th Coaltrans — Russia (South African Coal Markets and recent developments)
