Abulele Melani Diya

Hello! I'm Abulele Melani Diya, a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg with a passion for learning, creativity, and inspiring others.
Originally from Margate, KwaZulu-Natal, I was raised by my mother, stepfather, and my two younger sisters. As the eldest sibling, I have always understood the value of responsibility, hard work, and setting a positive example. Throughout my school years, I was recognized for my strong academic performance, which helped shape my determination and commitment to achieving my goals.
Alongside my studies, I am a TikTok content creator, where I share makeup content, fashion hauls, and lifestyle videos under the name "Living with Melani." I have also recently started growing my presence on Instagram, where I hope to continue inspiring others through authentic and creative content.
When I'm not studying or creating content, I enjoy drawing, cooking, baking, and exploring my interest in fashion design. I also love discovering new restaurants, trying different foods and drinks, and learning about different cultures. Although I haven't had the opportunity to travel yet due to financial limitations, it remains one of my biggest dreams. I hope to explore the world and experience different cultures firsthand.
My long-term career goal is to become an educator who teaches internationally, sharing knowledge and making a meaningful impact on learners beyond South Africa and across the world. I believe education has the power to transform lives, and I am committed to being part of that change.
I describe myself as career-driven, family-oriented, creative, and approachable. I value genuine relationships and keep a close circle of trusted friends who motivate and support me. Every opportunity I take whether in education, content creation, or personal development is a step toward becoming the best version of myself.
