Abu Zahid Md Jalal Uddin Joy is a passionate educator and cybersecurity professional with a rich background in software engineering and technology. He embarked on his esteemed career as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University, Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2022, while also engaging in various software development roles. His enthusiasm for Software Engineering, Software Security, and technological advancements fueled his journey in academia and beyond.
After earning his undergraduate degree in Software Engineering from Daffodil International University, for more than a couple of years Mr. Zahid was involved with software development and spent over a year teaching and sharing his knowledge with students. Seeking to expand his horizons, he migrated from Bangladesh to the United States and enrolled in the Department of Cyber Security at Washington University of Science and Technology. Currently, he is actively engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of cybersecurity and contributes to the IT management team as an Assistant IT Administrative.
Abu Zahid's expertise extends to the Software Operations Center (SOC Lab) at Washington University of Science and Technology, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security and efficiency of the university's software systems.
