Born in Calgary, Alberta I have always been at home in the mountains. Mt father taught me at a young age to appreciate nature, and I carry that wisdom even now, as an avid surfer, mountain climber, caver, and waterfall enthusiast. For the past four years, I have maintained a blog on the waterfalls of Nova Scotia, my home of the last twenty years.
I've always been weird-smart, sometimes to my own detriment. Numbers and language have always fascinated me, and I scored in the top 5 nationally during high school in the MathOlympics. I've been tested with an IQ of 167, and never really did anything to live up to the expectations.
