Hi, my name is Audrey Cann. I have lived in North Georgia Mountains for over 16 years and I cannot think of a more beautiful place to call home. I particularly love watching sun sets on mountain vistas and listening to a rushing stream as I lounge on the porch. As for my family and I, we enjoy many of the outdoor activities as well. Typical fun days for us are canoeing, tubing, hiking, boating, picnicking, and just hanging out together, maybe with a game of corn hole. This area is near to Atlanta and Chattanooga. If you choose you could easily be in the city and then return to the peace and quiet that the Mountain provide. However, it is not always quiet in our towns. In the fall it is Apple Festival time, and the Fall Festivals are everywhere. ( I can think of 5 within 15 miles of each other) The North Georgia Mountains pride themselves on having some of the best festivals anywhere! You have not really enjoyed an apple until you have had one in a fried pie!
