Amy Chou is a certified professional diversity coach and a strategist working with individuals and organizations to clarify and work towards purpose-driven missions.
With over a decade of experience building people power through social justice philanthropy, capacity building, and leadership development, Amy supports organizations and leaders to develop values-driven approaches to the change they want to create in the world.
She currently works as a Program Officer at the Brooklyn Community Foundation to support emerging, grassroots community-based organizations in predominantly communities of color and poor/working class communities. In her previous experiences, she has led and developed youth leadership and organizing programs with young people transitioning out of the foster care system.
Amy received her Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in Nonprofit Management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University and her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.
Amy lives in Brooklyn with her partner and their tuxedo cat Piper. She enjoys yoga, travel, art making, and storytelling.
